In April 2005 the club was re-developed with, three indoor courts, three artificial grass courts, three porous macadam courts and a kids zone
The club is also one of the first in the country to receive 'Club Mark' which is a National Kite Mark for the service we provide to our members and the quality of our coaching programme. We are now a model of good practice.
There are a variety of social and competitive tennis opportunities for players of all standards. For this reason we organize various nights to accommodate the range of tennis needs within our club. Please remember that these evenings do not prevent other members from using the courts at these times.
The club also has mens, ladies and mixed teams in both Sheffield and Chesterfield tennis leagues, so players of all club standards can enjoy competitive tennis if they wish.

Our junior section is an important part of the club. Under the guidance of our Tennis Development Director, Paul Hatton, we are an accredited performance centre for the LTA and receive funding to develop our junior players.
There is a junior night for all our junior members on Friday evenings which is fully supervised at a cost of £1, the attendees will receive a hot dog. The club also has a variety of junior teams in local leagues.
